Pretty Sparkles

You will need a tube of choice or if you want to use the one I have from Ora Moon. Link at bottom.
Also the mask which I will post at end of tutorial.
A small sparkle in your tubes.
A font of your choice, I'm using Relief Caps, link at end of tutorial.
A gradient of your choice, or use the one Ive used, you will find it in your patterns if you take it into psp..

Open a new canvas 400 X 400 white
New Layer, flood fill with gradient.
Layers / new mask layer / from image.
Choose the mask I posted
On layer pallette, delete mask, and ungroup layers.
Add a jagged or fun type frame of your choice
Layers / merge visable, re-name Background
This is where we are at

Copy / paste tube as a new layer, resize if needed.

Ajust sharpness / sharpen.
Add a drop shadow, these settings

New Layer, you may have to change size of each letter after your name is done.
Choose the colours you want to use. I'm using size 100, all depends on length of your name.
New Layer, Add first letter of your name, select none.
Add a drop shadow, these settings

This is what we have

New layer, add next letter of your name.
follow the same instuctions for first letter.
Continue to add letters until you have completed name.

Now we need to manouver our letters one by one so they look good
Make sure you have appropiate layers are highlighted as you work on each letter.
On my "J" I am using deformation "Pick" tool to make the letter longer

Will do the same with "A".
Then move the opacity down to about 60 so you can see tube.
With lasso tool, draw around the the part of tube you want to see. Hit delete on keyboard. Move opacity back to 100.

Highlight your next layer, mine is "N" and may be a little more difficult than others.
All depends on length of name and where you placed your letters.
Once again, stretch letter if needed, lower opacity to around 60
With lasso tool draw around the bits you want to erase.
On to "E", stretch to fit image ( check finished tag ).
Once again, lower opacity, and lasso the bits you want to delete
On to "T", Stretch again with deformation / pick tool.
Then repeat with lasso tool
Hide background, merge visable your tube and name. Re-name sparkle.
Highlight background layer, Add layers to add your text in font of choice, copyright and watermark.
Hide your sparkle layer, merge all others visable. Turn background back on.
On layer pallette, duplicate sparkle layer 3 times for a total of 4 layers.
Hide copies and highlight original.
With your tube tool, find a small sparkle
I'm using Jewel white, size 10, any small sparkle will do, just check it before you complte the whole thing.
You have a lot of sparkles to apply, but remember you also have 4 layers to add them too.
Hide the 3 copies of sparkle and highlight the original
Randomly add sparkles to the tube, ( Check finished Tag.)
Hide original layer, unhide and highlight copy layer, Add sparkles same as before.
Repeat this with next 2 copies.
Unhide original sparkle, hide all copies, highlight background.
Merge visable, save as 1 psp image
Hit the back arrow, Hide original sparkle, unhide copy
Merge visable, save as 2 psp image
Hit Back arrow.
Repeat with last two copies.
You should have 4 psp images saved.

Open Animation Shop
File / animation wizard.
Follow prompts and add your images.
I have my animation set at 10.
