Thats my Easter Egg

Thats My Egg



You will need my supplies, link posted at end of tutorial
The mask I used from Essex Girl, I will post at end of tutorial
A tube of choice, I'm using one from Popeye Wong,
I'll post a link at end of tutorial, where you can get his tubes.

Open a new canvas 400 X 400 transparent.
Flood fill with black
New layer, flood fill with #ff0000
Layers / new mask layer / from image.
Choose the mask I posted.
On layer pallette, delete the mask layer, answer yes to box that comes up
Then ungroup the group layer.
Image / picture frame, choose one of your edge frames
If you need to, crop it.
Merge visable. re-name background
Copy / paste your tube as a new layer.
Ajust sharpness / sharpen
Add a drop shadow, these settings



Re-name tube
Highlight background layer.
New layer,
With selection tool set to elipse, draw an egg shape like this



Flood fill with #ffffc0
Add an inner bevel, these settings



New layer, Effects / 3D effects / cutout, these settings



Select none.
Hide all layers except Egg and Cutout, merge visable
Re-name Egg
Make sure Egg layer is highlighted.
With lasso tool draw a ribbon, like this


New layer, copy / paste your ribbon fill into selection, Select none.
Add a drop shadow, these settings



Copy / paste your bow as a new layer.
Put it in place, just a little to the right of centre.
Add a drop shadow, same as ribbon.
Turn background and tube layer off, merge visable other layers, Re-name Egg.
Turn layers back on.
Have Egg layer highlighted and with deformation (pick) tool, move into place



Add a drop shadow, these settings



You are now ready to add layers for your Text, copyright and watermark
