Happy 4th July

You will need my supplies, link posted at end of tutorial
I'm giving you a white fan blade so you can fill as you wish
An Americana tube of your choice, I'm using an Eagle but can't share it
You will find a similar one in psptubes.com, (free tubes)

Open a new canvas 450 x 320 white, New layer
Selections/select all, flood fill with stars pattern/scale 150
Add an inner bevel, these settings

Selections/modify/contract by 12
New layer, flood fill with stripes\add inner bevel same as before
Selections/modify/contract by 15
Hit delete on keyboard, Highlight the stars layer and hit delete again
Merge visable
Copy/paste your Americana tube as a new layer, Ive used an eagle, then moved opacity down to about 40 or what looks right to you
Add a drop shadow, Try these settings

Add Layers for any text, copyright and watermark you need to add.
You should add these now
Merge visable
Copy/paste fan blade as a new layer, rename FAN
Duplicate this layer 9 times for a total of 10
Hide the bottom merged layer and all copies of fan, highlight Fan Layer, Add a new layer
This is what we have

In font and colours of choice, write "H"

Merge visable, re-name 1
Hide that layer, unhide/highlight copy of fan
New layer, Write "A", merge visable, re-name 2
Hide that layer, unhide/highlight copy(2) of fan
New layer, write "P", merge visable, rename 3
Keep doing this until you have a letter on every fan
It should read "Happy 4th July", see mine for more detail
We are going to start rotating our layers, we can move into position later
Unhide your bottom merged background
Unhide/highlight 1, Image/rotate/free rotate, rotate by left 115
Unhide/highlight 2, rotate by left 90
Unhide/highlight 3, rotate by left 65
Unhide/highlight 4, rotate by left 40
Unhide/highlight 5, rotate by left 15
Unhide/highlight 6, rotate by right 10
Unhide/highlight 7, rotate by right 35
Unhide/highlight 8, rotate by right 60
Unhide/highlight 9, rotate by right 85
Unhide/highlight 10, rotate by right 110
With mover tool put into place, like this

Copy/paste button as a new layer and put in place, re-name button
Hide everything except your merged background layer, highlight this
Save as 1 psp image
Leave background highlighted, unhide 1 and button
Merge visable, save as 2 psp image
Hit the undo arrow, Unhide 2
Merge visable, save as 3 psp image
Hit the undo arrow, Unhide 3
Merge visable, save as 4 psp image
Keep repeating this with all layers, until you have them all saved
Open Animation Shop
File/animation wizard
Find the folder where you saved your psp images
Add them in correct order to animation shop
Click on the first frame, hold Ctrl down and hit A to highlight all frames
Animation/ frame properties, change the speed to 35
Now click on your first frame, so its the only one highlighted
Animation/frame properties, change the speed to 200
Now to last frame, click on it and change the speed to 200
Back to first frame, click on it, hold Ctrl down and hit A to highlight all
Save as a Gif file and your done
