Happy Mothers Day



You will need A bunch of flowers of your choice
A colour or gradient border to match your flowers
A colour or gradient for background to match your flowers
A small bow or pretty to trim it with
I will be stating the colours I am using and you can alter to your liking

We will make this in 3 steps, seems long but very easy

STEP 1
Open a new canvas 140 x 190 transparent
Have foreground set to #cea500
Background set to mqc-creme, angle 45
Click inside canvas with magic wand, Flood fill with #cea500
Selections/modify/contract by 3, New layer, flood fill with gradient
Selections/select none
Add your bow or trim as a new layer. Add a drop shadow, these settings



New layer to add your text of choice, merge visable.
Put to one side

STEP 2
With your flowers, make sure they are as near to 250 x 250 as possible
Open a new canvas 250 x 250 transparent
Click inside canvas with magic wand
Flood fill with gradient, New layer
Copy/paste flowers into selection
Select none, merge visable
Put to one side

STEP 3
Open a new canvas 400 x 400 white
Layers / new raster layer
Click inside it with magic wand
Have foreground set to #cea500
Background set to Gradient mqc Creme
Flood fill with foreground
Selections / modify / contract by 3, new layer
Flood fill with background
Selections / modify / contract by 12, new layer
Flood fill with foreground
Selections / modify / contract by 3, new layer
Flood fill with background
Selections / select none, Merge visable
Move the opacity down to about 75
It should look like this



Layers / new raster layer
With selection tool, draw a rectangle, like this



Flood fill with foreground
Selections / modify / contract by 2, new layer
Flood fill with background
Selections / modify / contract by 5, new layer
Flood fill with foreground
Selections / modify / contract by 2, new layer
Copy / paste your flowers into selection
Selections / select none
Effects / 3D effects / drop shadow, these settings



Copy / paste your card as a new layer
With raster deform tool, move into place
Effects / 3D effects / drop shadow, these settings



Layers / merge / merge visable
You can now finish off as you wish
