My Mum



I have re-vamped this tutorial, so I hope you like it
I am using the beautiful art from John Bindon, link at bottom of page.
You will need my corner, link at bottom of page, or use one of your own.
Of course you can use a Piccie and corner of your own choice
Colours or gradients for border and fill in your choice of colour
Take Corner into psp

First of all, Please mist your piccie using my misting tutorial.
Link at end of tutorial, there are so many things you can do with misted images

Open a new canvas 400 x 400 white, we can delete later
Layer / new raster layer
With selection tool, these settings



Draw a selection like this



New Layer
Flood fill with colour/gradient of your border choice
Effects / 3D effects / inner bevel, these settings



Selections / modify / contract by 6
New layer
Flood fill with colour/gradient of choice for background
Selections / modify / contract by 3
New Layer
Flood fill colour or gradient of border
repeat inner bevel as before
Selections / modify / contract by 6
New layer
Flood fill with colour/gradient of background of choice
Selections / select none
Hide background layer, merge all others visable
On layer pallete, duplicate this layer
Turn background back on
Hide the duplicated layer and highlight the original
Click on raster deform tool, you have a box with nodes



Hold shift key down and on bottom right note, drag to right a little



Effects / 3D effects / drop shadow, these settings



Unhide and highlight the copy
Copy / paste the corner as a a new layer, move into place, top left
On layer pallette, duplicate, Image mirror, move into place
Duplicate again image flip, move into place
Duplicate again, image mirror, move into place
Hide the bottom two layers, merge merge visable
Copy / paste your Misted image as a new layer
Re-size and move into place so it looks good



Click on raster deform tool again
This time hold shift key down and drag bottom left node to left
Then release shift key, drag centre bottom node down a little
You may have to drag the top centre node up to be in line
Effects / 3D effects / drop shadow, same as before
Should look like this



Click on top hand to remove the raster deform
Add a drop shadow, same as before.
Layers / new raster layer
Set your foreground to black, background null
Click on preset shapes tool, these settings



Draw an Elipse Like this



It doesn't matter if its not perfect, we can move it
Click on text tool, choose font and colours of choice
Hold cursor at the top centre of elipse you drew
You will see a cross with an 'A' under it, click now to bring text box up
Write your text, Selections / select none
Add a drop shadow or shadowlab to make it stand out.
On layer pallette, right click on the vector layer / delete
Layers / new raster layer, Finish your text at the bottom
Layers / merge / merge visable
Save as a jpg
